Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous systems including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle.

• EEG (Electroencephalography): Electroencephalography (EEG) is an electrophysiological monitoring method to record electrical activity of the brain.It is typically noninvasive, with the electrodes placed along the scalp, although invasive electrodes are sometimes used such as in electrocorticography.EEG refers to the recording of the brain's spontaneous electrical activity over a period of time.
• EMG (Electromyography): Electromyography (EMG) is a diagnostic procedure that helps to evaluate the health condition of muscles and the nerve cells (Motor Neurons) that control them.They transmit electrical signals that cause muscles to contract and relax. An EMG translates these signals into graphs or numbers that helps doctor diagnose easily.
  
  When someone is showing symptoms of a muscle or nerve disorder like tingling, numbness, or unexplained weakness in the limbs doctors refers an EMG.
• NCV (Nerve conduction velocity): A nerve conduction velocity (NCV) test is used to assess nerve damage and dysfunction. Also known as a nerve conduction study, the procedure measures how quickly electrical signals move through your peripheral nerves.
